It is a great pleasure for us to invite you to the "International Forum on Taopsychotherapy and Western Psychotherapy" in Seoul, August 21 to August 22, 2004. The Forum has been organized as a part of scientific activities to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Korean Academy of Psychotherapists.

As a fusion of the Eastern Tao and Western psychotherapy, Taopsychotherapy is a new form of psychotherapy which embodies a culmination of more than 40 years' work by Prof. RHEE Dongshick and his followers. It has already been well received throughout the world, especially in the West where it has been described as "the highest form of psychotherapy". This International Forum will be recognized as a salient event for creating dialogue between the Tao and psychoanalysis, in this century. We firmly believe that Taopsychotherapy will become an epoch-making bridge between Eastern Tao and Western psychotherapy, as well as a breakthrough beyond the limitations of current psychotherapies.

We have invited eminent speakers from the West who will present papers on these topics and discuss important issues which relate to the audiotapes of Prof. RHEE's therapy cases.

We will also arrange traditional Korean cultural events and exciting tours for those who are interested.

Finally, we are very proud to inform you that all materials for the Forum which are available in English will be forwarded to those who register in advance.
